Research Poster Presentation Event by simply answering 3 questions (Approximately 200 Japanese Characters Each)
Presentations accepted from all academic fields. Research poster presentations are intentionally anonymous!
You don't need to stay standing by your poster. Presentations are limited to 3 minutes within the designated time slots.
Bringing “inspiration” to your research!
We've carefully designed this event to remove biases stemming from organizational affiliation or professional titles, allowing for truly open and honest discussions. Encounter new vocabulary, perspectives, and methods that can deepen your research and unlock new possibilities, including collaborations across different fields and institutions.

Researchers, the general public, businesses, government officials, students and more
(Free Admission)
The main attendee proportions are approximately 30% researchers, 30% people from business sector , and 10% students (undergraduate and graduate). We also welcome many motivated elementary, junior high, and high school students engaged in exploratory learning, their educators, and parents. Furthermore, individuals in creative fields such as writers, artists, and poets frequently attend.
Pre-registration is recommended for visitors
Pre-registering for your visit is recommended. This will ensure a smoother check-in process on the day and allow the secretariat to send you reminders.

For researchers interested in presenting their research theme,
we encourage you to make a "pre-entry" immediately to secure your poster display space.
You can then take your time to carefully consider
and complete the formal application by the deadline.
Relating to your future endeavors, present difficulties, or obstacles, please pose your desired advice or discussion topics in the form of a question.(150 words in JP)
Describe your research activities with light reference to precedents and similar studies. In addition, describe your future goals, aims, and methods of attack. (300 words in JP)
Please describe your core or originating question (theme) as a researcher in the form of a “wonder”. (300 words in JP)
One photo that best represents your research topic or interest. Below that, a title and three hashtags (for collaboration) with a maximum of 47 characters.

研究テーマ掲示者はずっと会場にいなきゃいけないのですか？
違います。開催期間中、いつでも都合のよいときにお立ち寄りくだされば結構です。なお、口頭発表の日時は、申請者のご都合をお聞きし、事務局が決定したのち、全員に連絡いたします（本番２週間前までには！）
どんな研究者が、集まってきていますか？
地区には多くの大学、研究機関があります。このようなエッジーな取り組みに共感する研究者は必ずいます。それに、今回は広く広報をすることもそうですが、各大学のURAの方々の「推し研究者」を集めることにこだわっています。つまり、このポスター大会に参加する研究者は、オープンマインドでフットワークの軽いエッジーな研究者と、誰かの「推し」研究者から構成されるというわけです。これだけで、かなりワクワクしませんか？
すごく面白いのはわかるけど、研究推進に対して
直接的メリットがないこの企画に、どんな意義があるんですか？
懐疑的な質問をありがとうございます。しかし、想像してほしいのです。例えば、この企画を継続していった10年後の未来を！
この研究ポスター発表大会に、「自分の研究テーマをいろんな分野の人からコメントもらってもっともっと磨きたい！」「自分の学術活動を多種多様な人に聞いてもらって、どこまで響くか試してみたい！」という様々な組織の様々な分野の研究者から、数百、数千人単位で応募がある！ もはやそれを選別しないと会場に収まらない！
もし我が国の学術界がそうであれたなら、決して行政は今日のような（大学に対しての）対応ではないでしょうし、企業も決して無視できないと思うのです。その未来のために、本事業を実行するのです。もしご共感いただけたのであれば、その理想を実現するために共にがんばりませんか？ 研究テーマの掲示、または、企画の広報にご協力頂ければほんとうに嬉しいです。この未来にむけて一緒にがんばれる仲間を増やしたいです。
今後、全国をまわるってことですか？
はい。全国を9の地区にわけ（北海道、東北、北信越、関東、東海、関西、中国、四国、九州・沖縄）、約2年かけて全地区で開催する計画です。各地区で実施後に全テーマを掲載した雑誌を発行するので、２年後には９冊となり、全国版「研究者カタログ」ができるということになります。その雑誌は、企業や、行政や、メディアに広く展開させようと思っています。
これをお読みの、全国の大学組織の方（特にURAの方）、一緒にこの全国規模の事業、もりあげませんか？ 「我が地区でやるときは、ぜひ関わりたい！」と手を挙げていただけること、大いに期待しております！
そんな壮大なプロジェクト、ねらいは何ですか？
長くなりますが、聞いていただけますでしょうか。
今、大学なのに「学問」がしづらくなってる現状にあると思っています。KPI、ガバナンス強化、ランキング、競争力・・・ 社会の中の大学としてそれもまた大事ではありますが、他方で今、どの大学（人）も短期的な成果創出のプレッシャーと対峙しつつ、学問本来の営みの保持に四苦八苦してるのではないでしょうか。
論文はどれだけ書いたかじゃなく何を書いたかが本質。それに、論文だけが学問の成果ではない。論文以外の活動（産学・地域連携等）もまた学問として重要であり、今役に立つ研究もさることながら、「そもそも”役立つ”とは何か？」を考えるのが学問の仕事。それがないと、社会全体が単線的になりがちでありで、今、まさにそうなっていませんでしょうか？ これは多様性と逆行状態です。
そうしてこの１０年来で明らかになったのは、今日的な利益誘導的政策では、大学が企業体に近づくだけで、大学（学問）の色合いが薄まり、全体的な大学（学問）の魅力がますます低下してしまったことじゃないかと思うんです。
このままでは、どんどん我が国の学術の土壌は枯渇し、先細りの未来しかなくなるってしまう。正直いって、今日、学問の灯火を単独の大学で守るのは難しい。全国規模で大学機関が協力してこの学問の土壌づくり、すなわち「人づくり」に注力することはできないだろうか？ きっと今、本物の研究者（学者）ほど表にでてこない。そういう研究者にアクセスし、「そのままでいいんだよ」と応援し、かつ世間に見える化していきたい。それがこの事業の動機になります。
ぜひ我が社としても個人としても応援したい。

こういう事業をやろうとする国際高等研究所とは？
「人類の未来と幸福のために、何を研究すべきかを研究する」ことを基本理念に、地球社会が直面する困難にどのように対処するのか、そして21世紀にあるべき文化・科学・技術はどのような姿なのか、これらの諸課題に対する根源的な活動を行う関西文化学術研究都市（けいはんな）にある研究機関（所長：松本紘・元理研理事長、京大総長）です。
本事業は、 「持続可能でレジリエントな社会実現に向けた学際共創の方法の開発と実践研究」プロジェクト（代表： 有本建男チーフリサーチフェロー、JST参与・GRIPS客員教授。副代表兼実行責任者：宮野公樹客員研究員、京都大学准教授）の活動として実施しているものです。本事業のような組織を超えて連携する学術のボトムアップな取り組みは、公益財団法人としてふさわしいと考えています。
なお、本事業は京都大学学際融合教育研究推進センター「100人論文」の形式を参考にしており、本サイトの写真は、宮野客員研究員・京大准教授個人からの提供であること、申し添えます。
研究テーマ掲示者とコンタクトとれますか？
もちろんです。企画後、本サイトに「研究者とコンタクトをとる」ボタンを掲載します。そこをクリックすると、研究テーマ申請時、または受付時に配布された「番号」を入力し、「・・・番の方と連絡をとりたい」とフォームにて入力。先方の許可が得られた後、先方のメアドがあなたに伝わる、というシステムです。
研究テーマの機密保持は？
盗まれて困るようなテーマは提出しないようお願い申し上げます。なお、本企画の主旨は、自分の考えを公開し広くフィードバックをもらうことで、内容を磨き、より優れたものにすることにあります。
